Annie DeLapp, DPT

Annie is originally from Marietta, GA. Sparked by her competitive dance background and personal interest in health, she attended the University of Georgia where she earned a B.S. in Health Promotion and Behavior. After working in corporate health in Atlanta, she pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of New England located in Portland, Maine.

Upon graduating, she moved back to Marietta and began working in outpatient orthopedics, with dance-medicine focus. She gained experience working with professional dancers and performers before embarking on the national tour of42nd Street, treating cast, crew, and band members across 70 cities.

After tour ended, she relocated to Minneapolis, MN and worked at a large orthopedic practice, Twin Cities Orthopedics. During her time in Minnesota, Annie became Level 1 Functional Dry Needling Certified through KinetaCore .Additionally she participated in community outreach at dance studios, competitions, and professional performances. In the fall of 2018, Annie and her husband returned to their southern roots and moved back to Marietta, GA. She joined the POC team in January 2019. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, attending barre classes, and traveling.
