Ryan G. Wilkins, PT, DPT

Ryan, originally from Ballston Lake, NY, successfully completed an accelerated 3+3 academic program through The Sage Colleges, earning his Bachelor of Science in applied biology in 2013, and doctorate in physical therapy in 2016. In 2017, Ryan completed a 12-month accredited orthopaedic physical therapy clinical residency program at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC. Throughout this clinical residency program, Ryan participated in didactic instruction, clinical mentorship, and clinical research to accelerate his knowledge and clinical skills in orthopaedic physical therapy. In July 2018, the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) awarded Ryan the designation of Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy, after successfully passing the specialist certification examination earlier that year.

Ryan is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Level 1, FMS Level 2, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 1 Certified.

Ryan particularly enjoys treating foot/ankle related pain and dysfunction, working with volleyball, soccer, and endurance athletes, as well as promoting performance optimization of all athletes.

Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys staying physically active, with particular interests in road biking, yoga, and Pilates.
