Shannon Hanson, OTR/L
Shannon completed her undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. She received her Master of Science in occupational therapy from Brenau University in 2017. During her final year of graduate school, she conducted research on the physical, mental and social impact of older adults moving to a new living space. She is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity special interest group. Her main areas of practice and interest are in the rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Originally from Southern California, Shannon grew up as a competitive figure skater. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing, kayaking and occasionally skating.
