Peachtree Orthopedics Employees Raise $400 for Atlanta MissionOn February 22, 2020, Peachtree Orthopedics employees gathered together to support Atlanta Mission and ran the 5K Race to End Homelessness. Peachtree Orthopedics employees raised $400 for the non-profit organization, which provides shelter, meals, job attainment services and counseling for homeless men, women and children in Atlanta.

Dr. Walter McClelland Serves as "Doctor of the Day" at CapitolRecently, Dr. Walter McClelland served as "Doctor of the Day" for the Georgia State Capitol. He met with legislators and discussed key issues facing the physicians and patients of Georgia, in addition to staffing the on-site medical clinic. The occasion was particularly interesting for Dr. McClelland since his grandfather served in the Georgia Legislature from 1956-1968.
Dr. Tim Griffith Discusses Youth Sports on Krush Performance PodcastDr. Griffith discussed sports specialization, the dangers of starting at too young of an age, what people can do to limit their risk while at the same time raising their potential, and how injuries, dropout rates and sports costs are all on the rise.

Dr. Stephen Smith, PA Katie Smith medical mission trip to HondurasDr. Stephen Smith and his PA Katie Smith traveled to Honduras in late 2019 with One World Surgery where they and 38 other volunteers performed 41 knee replacements in just 3 days in the remote village of Tegucigalpa. This annual medical mission trip is very near and dear to Dr. Smith's heart. Watch as he explains why he "takes away as much from the trip as the patients get out of the trip."

Ironman athlete is victorious once again thanks to Dr. KercherFor many Ironman athletes, a leg injury can be devastating and possibly end one's triathlon days. Haiti Mission Trip in May 2019This past May, Dr. Michael Bernot, Dr. Ashok Reddy and Dr. Hal Silcox III traveled to Haiti to provide much-needed and vital orthopedic care to people in need. In less than a week, they volunteered their services and performed 15 surgeries for adults and children. These surgeries gave the Haitians a new lease on life, and many were able to return to work and school.
