Education and Training

Dr. Beskin graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with his B.S. in 1977 and his M.D. in 1981. He completed his orthopedic training there as well, earning the honor of being chief resident during his final year. Dr. Beskin also completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Texas under Donald E. Baxter, M.D. He has been an assistant clinical professor of orthopedics at Tulane University since 1987, where he also served on the alumni board. He has served as director of the Atlanta Medical Center foot and ankle residency teaching program for 10 years.

Dr. Beskin has published numerous clinical research articles and book chapters.
